The welding industry is growing at an impressive rate & the need for qualified welders is high. This means the opportunity for those in High School to step into a career quickly has never been better. Because of this, we have an amazing opportunity coming up for High School Welders.

We will be holding our Bluegrass Series Welding Contests at High Schools around the state of Kentucky where students will compete against each other for a chance to win a scholarship & prizes.

Kentucky Welding Institute's Bluegrass Series Welding Contest – OPEN TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL WELDERS

Purpose

To recognize skilled welding students from across the state & support their pursuit of a successful welding career.

Scope

Skills will weld on generators and a vertical test. FFA will weld the FFA 3's on buzz boxes. (see flyer)

KWI will awards tee shirts to everyone, plus prizes and scholarships.

Eligibility

This contest shall be open to ANY HIGH SCHOOL WELDER

ONLY 7 REGISTRANTS PER SCHOOL!
